Hi everyone! Welcome to my website!

I’m Valentina D’Orsi, an Italian Storyboard artist and 2D/3D animator.
When I was a kid I was watching cartoons all day, completely lost into them and dreaming of being part of that world one day.

And here I am.
Doing the most interesting and incredible job ever.
I’ve been in the Animation Industry since 1995 starting as 2D traditional animator (after being inbetweener and assistant of course).
During my career I’ve been working in several department as Storyboard, Layout and both traditional 2D and then 3D Animator for various TV series and a few feature films.
Then in the last almost 10 years I’ve been Supervisor in the same departments, mostly Animation and Storyboard.

These experiences have given me the possibility to have a more complete view and a deeper knowledge of the storytelling and acting. Every time with a new challenge and solving issues, deeply studying and understanding every character’s personality, how to create the correct mood of the project and then make people feel the empathy as much as I can.
During the last years I’ve been focused mostly on the Storyboard, also as Storyboard Supervisor, and I’m enjoying it every day more and more, but still deeply loving animation, acting, psychology and everything that makes us feel alive!
I love bringing and studying emotions, as I still feel them a lot every time I watch a movie or the real life.
I can’t stop thinking in this way since I love this job, since every time I draw the expressions I’m still making them with my face.
